Mortgage professionals include mortgage brokers and mortgage associates, and we all work in a regulated industry in which we are required to carry a license through the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA).
The RECA’s mandate is to protect consumers and provide services that enhance and improve the industry, and the business industry of professionals. We at Canadian Mortgage Professionals also maintain our own internal standards to help protect our clients. Unfortunately though, there are questionable players in every industry and sadly, one such person has been identified in our industry.
Last week there was an alert that was released by RECA that we would like to make you aware of.
As licensed professionals at Canadian Mortgage Professionals we are honest, trustworthy, professional, confident in our relationships, and competent in the service we provide to our clients.
We complete all required ongoing education and annual licensing (every October in fact) which keeps us current with the industries best practices.
